Whether you are just learning to quilt or want to learn a new technique, you’ll enjoy creating the Double Irish Chain quilt with us. It might look complicated but you’ll be learning strip quilting which makes the construction easy. We’ll be making a twin coverlet size quilt top with a simple border. Your finished quilt top will be 78” x 96” or if you choose, you can make a lap size 50” x 70”. This class will have multiple sessions and may require some “homework” but you’ll have guidance through all the steps.
We will be using the book Irish Chain in a Day by Eleanor Burns. If you don’t have the book, let us know by July 16 so we can get it for you. You will be able to use the book for other projects, too.
Bring your lunch to each class.
