You can pick any 3 (or more) of these patterns to make a table runner, small quilt, wall hanging, or whatever project you want. Blocks are made using the Sampler Set of templates that you probably already have. You will learn to make these designs and helped to make some of your own if you want. The blocks are 12” square and we’ll be joining them together using one of the “Quilt as You Go” (QAYG) techniques that you can use for other projects. So if you pick 3 blocks, you will have a 36” runner or go bigger! You can make as many blocks in each class as you want. This will be a great opportunity to refresh your template quilting or learn to use them to make a project. If you are new to ruler work, no worries – we’ll help you!!
$30 non-refundable deposit, due at registration. You will also need fabric and batting, there is not kit provided with this class.
If you would like to register after the first session, please contact the store.
Bring your machine along with your Sampler Set of templates and your ruler foot. You'll also need to bring quilt sandwiches, a
minimum of 14" square & using a low loft cotton, poly or blend
batting. Plain or nearly plain fabric is recommended so you can see your quilting. You will also need your extension table, glider,
crosshair square, marking pens, tweezers, extra needles and your threads.
This is a great project to use variegated threads or embroidery
threads but if you are most comfortable using cotton, that's fine
too. Be brave &experiment a little!!
