Kimberbell Cuties Volume 2 Open Sew - Green Bay

Call out to all Kimberbell fans…we now have Cuties volume 2, July to December available.  We (all three shops) will continue to create an adorable table topper each month.  Kimberbell thinks of it all so we are able to use a 8x12 and 9x14 hoop to do all quilting in one simple step OR a 5x7 hoop and do three hoopings.  (For all of you rolling your eyes at multiple hoopings, I peeked ahead and the multiple hoopings and it isn’t as daunting as it may seem.) You could even use your clear blue tiles if you like to complete the quilting after the blocks are sewn together.

Due to the success of volume 1 we will continue to offer the fabric kits. Please sign-up ASAP…they are very intensive to cut so we need time to cut each kit. July kits are now available. Remember that all kits are cut to the exact size, and we also fuse the fusible woven to the back of the embroidery blocks. This means after embroidering the block and cutting them to size it should only take 2.5 hours to put the topper together quilt and bind.

Cost: $10 non-refundable deposit, due at registration. Deposit applied to kit cost. $33-$35 kit cost. Embroidery designs and book cost 63.49 plus 15% off class discount. (Once the Embroidery design is purchased you will only need to purchase the class kit for the future table topper classes. Each month the estimated kit will cost $33-$35.

Customers are not required to complete table topper at the shop…if you would like to order the kits and just pick them up…just let the staff know.

Required Materials: Cutie’s volume 2 book and monthly kit; sewing and embroidery machine in good working order; embroidery foot, open toe foot and 1/4" foot.

Embroidery Supplies: threads (40 weight for the top, see book for thread colors, and white, 60 weight for the bottom); 75 Embroidery Needles, No show Mesh Stabilizer, Fusible Backing, Batting, 505 Spray, applique scissors.

Sewing supplies: Cotton Thread 40 or 50 weight, basic sewing supplies, starch
