FUN & FABULOUS PROJECTS with Sew Steady Rulers/Templates - Green Bay

        CLASS TIME – 10:30 am – 2:30 pm (bring a lunch or snack)

The FUN & FABULOUS PROJECTS classes are done on regular sewing machines, using Sew Steady/Westalee templates (also called rulers). 

We’ll be doing a variety of projects including:

• Using colored pencils to color & shade floral or other designs you create

• A form of reverse applique called TempLee

• Thread painting

• Your ideas are welcome!

Not familiar with these? Then you absolutely should join us for these classes!!! We exchange ideas & explore different ways to use rulers to create beautiful & amazing projects. You can use your ideas to make pillows, wall hangings, framed art, quilt blocks or cushions for your chairs. You may be surprised to find you really ARE creative!!

What you need to bring for class varies depending on the project but these are the basic supplies:

• Your sewing machine (no embroidery needed) in good working order, power cord & foot control

• Extension table & glider

• Ruler foot

• Threads (bring a variety) & extra bobbins

• Assorted needles – usually Topstitch 90/14

• Sewing supplies – scissors, tweezers, fabric markers 

• Sew Steady templates, stitching line discs, crosshair square & spacing gauge

• Drawing paper or freezer paper and pencils to draw your design before stitching.

• Crosshair square

• Rulers for measuring (12&1/2” square is helpful)
