Here’s what you’ll learn:
Measuring & Cutting: Measure your machine and cut fabric and foam backing for a precise fit.
Quilting Techniques: Practice your favorite quilting style—straight line, free motion, or quilting with templates.
Finishing Touches: Add a neat binding at the bottom for a polished, professional look.
Let your creativity shine! Combine fabrics, play with colors, and customize your cover to suit your style—handle opening optional.
Class Details
Location: Ana’s Sewing Studio, Green Bay
Dates: Saturday, February 22 & Saturday, March 22 (2-part class)
Time: 10:30 AM - 3:30 PM (bring your lunch/snack)
Cost: $25 for both sessions (materials not included)
Registration Deadline: Friday, February 7
What to Bring
- Sewing machine in good working order (with manual, foot control, and power cord)
- Walking foot, 1/4” foot, open-toe foot, ruler foot (optional for templates), free motion foot
- Rotary cutter (60mm recommended) and cutting mat
- Thread, extra machine needles, self-threading needles
- Fabric markers, 24” ruler, scissors, pins, and binding clips
- Fabric: Approximately 2 yards (non-directional preferred)
- Foam Backing: In-R-Form SINGLE-SIDED FUSIBLE preferred (approx. 36”-38” x 58”) or Annie’s Soft & Stable
