Parabolic & Geometric Curves: Mastering the 12” Arc Template
Take your quilting skills to the next level with this exciting 3-session class taught by Vonnie! Using your 12” Arc template and ruler foot, you’ll learn to create stunning parabolic and geometric curve designs that look complex but are surprisingly simple when stitched in small, manageable segments.
Whether you’re a beginner to ruler work or looking to refine your template quilting skills, Vonnie will guide you step by step to achieve precision and confidence with these beautiful designs.

Dates: Wednesdays, January 15, February 5, and March 5
Time: 10:30 AM - 2:30 PM
Location: Ana’s Sewing Studio, Appleton
Cost: $15 plus 2 patterns (1 is FREE, 1 is $12)

- Geometric Pattern by Helen Sullivan ($12)
- Parabolic Curves by Helen Sullivan (FREE)
Both are available as digital downloads at SewSteady.com. Please download, print, and bring both patterns to class.
What to Bring
- Sewing machine, power cord, foot control & manual
- Extension table
- Ruler foot & 12" arc or long straight template
- Crosshair squares, fabric markers
- Tweezers, scissors, self-threading needles (for burying thread)
- Spacing gauge
- Variety of threads
- Quilt sandwiches (minimum size 14")*
*Quilt sandwich consists of top fabric - usually a solid or with very little print or tone-on-tone; top fabric should be starched or with 2 layers of Best Press; one layer of quilt batting; bottom layer of fabric can be any print or solid.
