Strip Circle Table Topper Workshop

Join Vonnie at Ana’s Sewing Studio to create a unique and stylish strip pieced circle table topper! This project is a great opportunity to learn strip piecing techniques, work with coordinating fabric strips, and master the Circles & Straights tool by Sew Steady.

In this workshop, you’ll:
Strip Piece: Use 1-3/4” and 1” fabric strips to create square blocks.
Make Perfect Circles: Use the Circles & Straights tool to cut and assemble a beautiful circle design.
Finish Your Project: You’ll leave class with a completed table topper (or very close to it).

This is the perfect project to showcase your favorite focus fabrics—think bright colors, seasonal themes like spring florals or Valentine’s hearts, or even reproduction fabrics. Let your creativity shine!

Class Details

Locations:

• Appleton: Wednesday, February 19  OR
• Green Bay: Thursday, February 20

Time: 10:30 AM - 4:30 PM (Bring your lunch or a snack)
Cost: $20 + Circles & Straights Tool ($35 if you don’t already own one)

• Already have the tool? Sign up by February 17.

What to Bring

Materials:

• Focus fabric (3/4 yard) and coordinating neutral/solid (1/2 yard)
• Backing fabric
• Table runner batting or fusible fleece

Tools & Supplies:

• Sewing machine (with power cord & foot control)
• 1/4” foot, regular sewing foot, and walking foot (optional)
• Circles & Straights Tool (required)
• Cutting mat (12” x 18”), rotary cutter, 24” ruler
• Fabric glue, curve turner (recommended)
• Fabric markers, scissors, pins, binding clips
• Pressing mat & travel iron (optional)
