Quilting is a rewarding and enjoyable craft, and we’re excited to kick off a beginner-friendly quilting class for 2025! Whether you’re new to quilting or looking for a fun way to refresh your skills, this class will cover the essentials while guiding you through the process of making the beautiful Bagette Quilt.

What You’ll Learn:

• Week 1: How to cut fabric accurately using a rotary cutter and straight ruler.

• Week 2: Piecing your pattern and mastering the 1/4” seam allowance.

• Week 3: Assembling your quilt and answering any remaining questions.

• Date: Fridays – March 20, March 27, April 3

• Location: Ana’s Sewing Studio, Wausau

What You’ll Need:

• A sewing machine in good working condition

• Rotary cutter and cutting mat

• Quilting ruler

• Pins or clips for holding fabric

• Good quality thread (we recommend Quilters Select)

• 1 Jelly Roll

• 4.5 yards of background fabric

We’ll be working from the book “Simply Jelly Rolls” by It’s Sew Emma. The book is required for the class and includes 16 additional patterns for future projects!
