APP: Sewing Basics 101
If you’ve always wanted to sew but didn't know where to start, this is the class for you. This isn't a quilting class; it’s a construction basics workshop designed to give you the confidence to tackle any home decor or garment project.
We will walk you through the anatomy of your machine, how to maintain a consistent seam allowance, and the importance of "pressing as you go." You’ll learn the "Magic Burrito" technique to create a pillowcase with completely finished, "hidden" seams—meaning no raw edges and no fraying! You’ll walk out with a completed pillowcase and the skills to start your next handmade project.
You'll need your sewing machine and thread. You can pick out the fabric you need at Ana's.
