Josephine Embroidered Pillow (In-the-Hoop)

Elevate your home decor with the sophisticated Josephine Pillow! In this hands-on workshop, you will explore the efficiency and precision of "In-the-Hoop" embroidery. This technique allows you to quilt, piece, and decorate your pillow block entirely within the embroidery hoop, ensuring perfect alignment and beautiful detail every time.

Under Donna’s expert guidance, you will work through the beautiful Josephine design from Designs by JuJu. After completing the embroidery portion, you’ll use a sewing machine to finish the assembly, resulting in a high-quality, boutique-style pillow.

This class is perfect for those who have a solid foundation in both sewing and embroidery and are looking to expand their skills into complex ITH projects. We will cover stabilizer selection, fabric placement, and the final construction steps to bring your project to life.

Required Materials:

• Pattern: Josephine Pillow ITH Design (Please download prior to class)

• Equipment: Embroidery machine and sewing machine

• Fabrics: Based on your chosen design size

• Stabilizer & Batting: No-show mesh, SF101 (or fusible woven), and batting

• Thread: Selection to match your fabric choices

• Tools: Scissors and your usual sewing/embroidery notions

• Pillow Form: Sized to match your design (Note: Pillow forms are not sold in-store; Hobby Lobby is a recommended source)

Note: All materials except for the pillow form are available for purchase at the shop.
