GB: Talk Turkey: In-the-Hoop Embroidered Door Hanger

Ready to stitch up some festive fall charm? Join Donna for a wonderfully creative day of machine embroidery and applique! In this session, you’ll learn how to craft a beautiful, high-quality Turkey Hanger to adorn your home just in time for the cozy season.

Using an incredibly fun "in-the-hoop" design from Sweet Pea, you will machine-embroider and appliqué the individual panels, then bring them together to create a stunning, dimensional hanging piece. It’s a rewarding, stress-free project that yields professional-looking results.

To ensure everyone gets plenty of space and personalized guidance, class size is strictly capped at 7 students.

• Class Fee: $35.00

• Required Design: Participants must purchase and download the Turkey Hanger (5x7, 6x10, or 7x12 size) pattern directly from SwPea.com prior to class.

What you need to bring:

• Pattern & Instructions: Pre-downloaded from Sweet Pea (SwPea.com) and brought to class.

• Machine: An embroidery/sewing machine in good working order, along with your hoops, power cord, foot pedal, and usual machine supplies.

• Stabilizers:

  • Cutaway stabilizer

  • Wash-away stabilizer (such as Sew-n-Wash)

• Project Materials:

  • Fabrics of your choice (fall colors, prints, or textures for your turkey!)

  • Batting

  • Embroidery threads in coordinating colors
